Job Description:
Technical Competencies:
• Responsible for the design of Test Strategy, Test cases and Test data.
• Develop, document Test Scenarios and Cases based on functional profiles.
• Perform regression testing as per approved Test Cases when requested or as per approved schedules, verification testing on assigned defects
• Test requirement definition, test design, test script and test data development, test automation, test environment configuration management and test execution.
• Staying current on latest test approaches and test tools and transfers this knowledge to test team
Project Competencies and Behavioral Competencies:
• Module/Project metrics collection
• Review ongoing development/technical documentation and maintain an inventory of improvements.
• Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensures client satisfaction.
• Train and coach members of technology groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Desired Profile:
• Working experience on Unix and Windows environments.
• Working experience of application deployments on web/app servers like (Jetty, tomcat, WebSphere and WebLogic).
• Minimum 2 years of automation experience using QTP, SoapUI and shell scripting.
• Good Core Java knowledge, exposure to cluster applications (MSCS and Red Hat Cluster Manager).
• Good testing skills like understanding requirements, writing and executing test cases, reporting defects using QC.
• Exposure to performance testing, good communication skills added advantage.
• Good command over the Quality processes & Estimation skills.
• Experience in working onsite-offshore model projects.
• Testing Background experience required
