Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
• Work with systems development teams to validate the quality of the product delivered to the stakeholders as per group standards.
• Mitigate risks to Business through timely, precise execution of manual/automated test scripts under moderate supervision and validation of test plans.
• Work with development team to create test plans for enhancements and fixes on applications.
• Under moderate supervision carries out procedures and tests to ensure that information systems and services meet group standards and end• user requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify issues in requirements, design specifications and product documentation.
• Develop and execute formal test plans within budget and schedule constraints.
• Develop Test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints.
• Perform functional and technical test execution activities as per GTM engagement level in the project. -Document software product defects and track it to closure.
• Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test planning and execution phases where applicable.
• Assist the Test lead/Assistant Test Manager in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day.
• Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
• Contribute to accurately estimate work requirements.
• Conduct reviews and inspections of project deliverables (small size projects).
• Contribute to define & Document test procedures and policies.
• Report status promptly and forthrightly.
