Skill Required
• Strong conceptual understanding of CMMI model and strong deployment experience is must; Active participation in CMMI appraisal activities is desirable
• Should have good understanding on other quality models like Six sigma, MBNQA and ISO
• Significant experience in process definition, rollout, implementation of Quality Management Framework and Systems
• Should be able to handhold engagement teams in selecting appropriate approach, processes and tailoring guidelines to meet Organization quality objectives and parameters defined in Quality Framework
• Hands on working knowledge of software metrics, process performance/capability baseline and statistical techniques
• Should be able to perform project reviews and assessments based on Quality Framework and steer project teams to defined objectives and improvement
• Good training skills, experience in taking process trainings
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Should be innovative, self-motivated and should possess "can do" attitude.
• CSQA or PMP certification desirable
Key Responsibilities
• Works with project teams and senior management to understand project objectives, context and thereon guide project members to define overall Quality approach, processes, metrics and tailoring options
• Facilitate projects in deploying quality framework from initiation to closure.
• Works with project teams to assess project performance with respect to selected metrics and guide teams to meet defined quality objectives and goals through performance and compliance assessments/checks
• Demonstrates an understanding of industry leading practices, trends and issues in the Quality / Process Improvement space. Shares best practices across projects and acts as champion knowledge management initiatives.
• Manages the Quality Framework, process improvement inputs, tools and metrics initiatives
• Takes lead in defining and/or enhancing quality processes in line with business requirement at Market offering level
• Leads the effort on process adoption through key initiatives such as process training, rollout, refining current processes to provide better alignment with business objectives and vision
