Position Description

• Works with the User Experience Designer, taking visual design comps and visual design specifications with information architecture deliverables to form end user experience

• Designs and iterates proposed user experience with team of User Experience Analysts, User Experience Designers, Developers and Project/Program owners

• Implements front-end code for user interfaces of web-based software applications

• Creates prototypes with the User Experience Designer to validate desired interactions

• Develops user experience best practices for coding, web standards and rich interface technologies into standards across multiple SunGard Higher Education solutions

• Possesses a sensitivity for visual design and user interaction

• Presents work in clear and understandable manner to project stakeholders and partners

• Educates partners on user centered design best practices

• Is the authority on latest front-end technologies and shares knowledge with team

Position Requirements

Utilizes a variety of web-related coding skills in Flex, Flash, AJAX, XHTML, CSS

• Have worked with team members similar to Information Architect, Interaction Designer, Visual Designer, Graphic Artist, Prototype Developer

• Work under minimum direction, and use independent judgment in decision-making

• Display outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Be comfortable with agile software development processes
