Odisha Public Service Commission, invites application from eligible Indian candidates for Judicial Service Examination, 2012 In Orissa :

1. Judicial Service Examination, 2012

No. Of Post: Total No. Post Category-wise 55 (UR-27, SC-9, ST-12, SEBC-6, OH -1) & No. Post For Women 18 (UR-09, SC-03, ST-04, SEBC-02). 

Salary: Odisha Public Service Commission Pay of Salary Rs. 27,700 to 44,770/-, with usual Dearness Allowances and other allowances as sanctioned by the Govt of Odisha from time to time.

Qualification: Applicants must be a Graduate in Law of a University or Institution recognized by the Government.

Age: A Candidates Min. age 23 & Max. age 35 years as on 1st August, 2012.

Selection Procedure: Competitive Examination consisting of 3 parts – Preliminary Written Examination, Main Written Examination and Interview to be conducted by the Odisha PSC under the provisions of the Odisha Superior Judicial Service & Odisha Judicial Service Rules, 2007 .

In order to implement this Act effectively and efficiently, the Nodal Department evolved this appropriate mechanism in the form of 'RTI Central Monitoring Mechanism' (www.rtiorissa.gov.in) to fully comply with all mandatory provisions of the RTI Act, 2005 and track the progress in a single network. This is a web based centralized database system hosted on web server provided by NIC, Govt. of India. Every Public Authorities (Offices) under Govt. of Odisha has access to the system through a Public Authority account, where there is a predefined Web Content Management System for uploading the suo-motu-disclosure as per section-4(1) (b) (c) (d) of RTI Act, 2005. Similarly the Public Authority account has also options for maintaining and updating the various requests for information received by PIOs / APIOs under section 6 of RTI Act, 2005. The request can be received physically, transferred from other Public authority or can come through online. By using this account, every Public Authority has the advantage of adhering to prescribed time-limit for disposal failing which he/she is liable to be penalised. At the same time the citizen has the satisfaction in obtaining information from the PIOs in due time, thus, posing trust on the Govt. system. This software also generates all the registers as prescribed under the Odisha Right to Information Rules, 2005.
