Key Responsibilities:

• Editing and enhancing copy for the wire and digital feeds, tailoring content to the needs of the media

• Carrying out checks on stories to ensure they are accurate and fair

• Selecting and cropping appropriate images

• Selecting video clips as required (training to be given as necessary)

• Tailoring style and tone to suit different platforms and sections

• Working on a range of digital production platforms incorporating bespoke products, hosted products and social media

• Managing and prioritising incoming stories effectively within defined areas of operational responsibility
