Orissa Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Surgeons in Junior Class-I of Orissa Medical Service cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department for SC /ST Candidates.

3. SC (Male): 125
4. SC (Female): 62

Age limit: Candidates should have an age between 21 to 37 years as on 01-08-2011

Educational qualifications: Candidates who completed M.B.B.S (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from recognized university or candidate must be a holder of a registrable medical qualification from a recognized Medical College in United Kingdom

Application fee: Eligible candidates have to pay 30/- as application fee in form of Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft / Pay Order, payable to Secretary, Orissa Public Service Commission, Cuttack, Payable at Cuttack

Selection Procedure: Short listed candidates will be called for an interview

The Office of the Orissa Public Service Commission is functioning in its own building located at Cuttack in the State of  Orissa. The Chairman and Members of the Commission are Constitutional functionaries and the Special Secretary, Orissa Public Service Commission is the Head of the Department.
