Job Description:
• The applicant will work closely with JDA Customers Directed Application support teams providing Application support for all currently supported versions of MMS.
• Providing Application/Production Support to clients and end users on JDA applications
• Provides solution training to maintain customer satisfaction. Maintains critical application, system and infra structure availability at prescribed levels, and in notifying management and user communities when these service levels are not met.
• Maintains open lines of communication with appropriate JDA resources, external vendors and customers to develop and foster a strong relationship as trusted advisor to JDA and its customers.
• Provides technical guidance in the selection and implementation of external-facing systems, applications and/or infrastructure to meet JDA’s security, budget and business requirements/standards.
• Works with vendor support teams to resolve application, hardware and software issues for external facing infrastructure / systems to maintain service levels. Implements/maintains technical solutions.
• Maintains system availability to acceptable service levels. Notify management and external vendors when service levels are not met to expedite resolution and maintain acceptable customer satisfaction.
• Completes assigned work within allotted or prescribed timeframes.
• Records time and expenses into time entry system.
• Escalates issues that may have negative financial impact.
• Maintaining the system by resolving the bugs which has been raised with in the SLA
• Writing RPG or CL programs for fulfilling new enhancement requests
• Debugging and Testing of application programs

Desired Profile:
Required Skills & Experience
• Technical expertise in RPG/400, RPGIV, DB2, OS/400, CL/400, RPGILE, SQLRPGILE, CLLE
• OS expertise with OS400 to include V5R4 up to an including V6R1.
• Source code management tools like Implementor or any other source management tools on AS400.
• Defect Tracking software ideally Team Track.
• Has a track record of performing in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from analysis through maintenance.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Basic familiarity with VersionOne.
• Sound understanding of performance tuning on the AS400 platform in terms of systems resource; memory, I/O and CPU utilization.
• Ability to develop and/or improve application (MMS) code such that systems performance is optimized.
Required Experience:
• Should be expertise on AS400 & it’s related technologies with 2-5 years experience
• Experienced developing and supporting from a code base perspective, commercial AS400 RPG based software.
• Debugging and Testing of application programs
• Experience with one or more of the following business systems from a software application perspective: -Product Management-Organization management- Purchase Order Management - store Management - inventory management - inventory optimization - Replenishment
