JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Developer - ATG, you will translate client requirements into technical designs, design repositories/schemas, implement ATG extensions, design and create product catalog hierarchy and integrate with content management systems and search engines, unlocking the business value of ATG. You will independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution. You will teach, mentor and share knowledge, improve processes and develop systematic solutions to problem patterns.
* Develop Multi-Channel Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of ATG commerce.
* Design and Develop awesome features such as faceted navigation, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, store locator, social commerce or even Mobile eCommerce applications.
* Diagnose and solve technical problems related to multi-channel commerce and ATG implementation.
* Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions.
* Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation.
* Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
* Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* Mastery of J2EE specifically JSP, Servlet, MVC Pattern, Eclipse and ANT.
* Good understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases.
* Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to Websphere Application Server or JBoss.
* Expert understanding of ATG foundational concepts, Commerce and has experience & knowledge of form handlers, Droplets, ATG repositories, Servlet pipelines, content administration, personalization and scenario development, Order, Checkout, Pricing & Promotions.
* Good understanding of integration patterns with a Portal, Search, Content management package or other platforms.
Business Knowledge:
Ecommerce domain experience would be a plus

a. Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions b. Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal) c. Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution d. Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision. e. * Overall experience of 4 to 8 years with 2-3 years of ecommerce experience working with one or more commerce packages.
* 24 months of ATG Commerce experience in the last 3 years.
