Job Responsibility: The Bluetooth Subsystem software engineer position will perform software tasks throughout the entire software lifecycle - planning, requirements, design, coding, testing, and defect resolution.
The engineer will work with a global software team to develop Bluetooth stack, development of different BT profiles like HFP, A2DP, FTP and testing of the Bluetooth profiles for in-vehicle infotainment system and telematics unit
Skills Required:
* Experience in real-time embedded C software applications or equivalent.
* Blue Tooth design, development, maintenance, testing and product qualification
* Experience with Bluetooth Link level, Stack, Middle layer, Application & Bluetooth Profiles
* Knowledge of various Bluetooth stacks (iAnywhere, BlueZ, Light weight BT stack)
* Familiarity with Bluetooth 2.0, 2.1, 3.0 specifications and knowledge on Bluetooth 4.0
* Familiarity with Head Units/Infotainment Systems, Connectivity, Hands free technology
* Familiarity with testing Blue Tooth and the use of Blue Tooth Protocol Analyzers
* Working knowledge of Linux and/or QNX operating system
