Qualifications : - General Managers in Public Sector / Private Sector Bank with exceptional experience in IT field. Deputy General Managers and above in Public / Private Sector Banks who have worked as DGM(IT) / GM(IT) at least for a period of 2 years in the cadre.
Experience : Candidate should have exceptional experience in Information Technology field with atleast minimum 10 years and should have had practical experience in a Bank in Core Banking environment.

Qualification: A Graduate (Arts & Science) other than Engineering category with 50% marks or a Post Graduate, from a recognized University in regular course with knowledge in Computer Operations.
[OR] An Engineering Graduate with 55% marks from a recognized University in regular course with knowledge in Computer Operations.

Age: Maximum: For Graduates: 24 years and for Post Graduates 26 years as on Sep 30, 2011

Pay Scale: Rs.7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/2-20100.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 200.00 (Rs. 100.00 for SC / ST Candidates) by way of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. Payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin.

Procedure for Selection: The candidates should appear for written examination to be held at Chennai, Salem, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Mumbai and Delhi centres. The written examination will be of objective type. After evaluation on the basis of the written test, candidates will be short listed for an interview in the order of merit.

Probationary Period: Selected candidates will be placed at a Branch / Office on Probation for a period of one year.

Company Profile :

The history of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd., the then Nadar Bank Ltd., dates back to 1921. The thought of establishing a bank under the guidance of the able Nadar business community was mooted out in the Anniversary of Nadar Mahajana Sangam held at Tuticorin in 1920. The proposal was effected soon. The bank was registered on May 11, 1921 as "The Nadar Bank Ltd".
