Roles and Responsibilities: Oracle Apps,Test Automation,Web Testing,Testing Concepts

Skill & Job Requirements: Test Automation(L2)-Should be able to differentiate the various test automation frameworks in themarket and their applicability to the AUT.Should understand the service offerings from Automationpractice and leverage on the same, if required.Should have awareness on the various testing toolstools related certifications available in the market to improvethe competency.Should be able to work on QTP and understands the overviewon QTP as test automation tool - features, performance and usage. Web Testing(L3)-Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc. Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage Testing Concepts(L3)-Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testingand should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.Should understand Test Plans, Requirement TraceabilityMatrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliabilityanalysis effectively with DFA tool. Oracle Apps(L2)-Able to define master data like Customer Master in AR etc. Able to executetransactions and chain of inter related transactions like Creation of Inovicein AP, appoval, creating a cheque/EFT fro approved transaction, tranferring theaccounting transactions to GL. Should be aware of business process procedureslike OTC, P2P and F2D. Able to do a thorough analysis of functionalrequirements and coming up with test scenarios ( positive and negative). Ableto design test scripts by referring to business Documents like BR100 and MD50.Able to use AIM methodology and templates to execute a successful testing.

Skills: At this level individual completely owns Test Execution for the assigned module / product area, Responsible for execution of Manual and Automated test cases. Is fully contributing member responsible for Test Execution, Test case development ( automated / manual),modifications/ enhancements, test case review , end to end support for simple applications and for reporting bugs and test bed issues. At this level individual monitors and escalates risks to lead / PM, checks for schedule adherence to all milestones and assist she lead / Test Manager in preparing final test report. Prepare trace ability matrix In addition, is capable to analyze test requirement and product specifications, analyze test tools and develop test plan.
