Job Description:
System Testing:
* Leading the authoring of Test Strategy and Detailed Test Plans for E2E testing of NMS platforms with variety of network devices.
* Building automated unit/functional /SDK / system* testing of Java & C software components, platforms, applications and applying this technology to System Test.
* Building scale tests that quickly exercise the application under test to and past its limits.
* Building load tests for both typical and atypical loads.
* Integrating developer and test team created tests into a streamlined coherent system.
* Developing error* resilient, portable, re* usable test code including generally used utilities.
* Designing, building, deploying and supporting test infrastructures with automatic installations, test executions and
built* in logging and reporting functions.
* Designing systems for stability/reliability testing that simulate activity over long time periods.
* Proven ability to collaborate with developers to obtain required information so that test code is developed in parallel with the application under test.

Desired Profile:
* Minimum of 2* 3 years expertise in testing NMS or EMS products
* Expertise in Test Automation using Java and Java based tools.
* Working knowledge of developing and testing Spring based applications is a plus
* Networking background demonstrated by Cisco certifications and lab building/maintaining experience.
* Experience in simulating devices and traffic using tools like Simple Agent Pro is a plus.
* Experience in advanced domains such as carrier ethernet, mobile wireless Network Management is an added plus.
Bug Quality:
Posses the ability to troubleshoot application errors prior to filing a bug, while supplying as much information as possible to the developer to fix the bug. Ability to defend complex bugs in peer reviews and have a deep technical
understanding of bugs filed by others.

Have a proven ability to deliver with high productivity in spite of tight schedules, unforeseen obstacles and surprises
that are a constant in fast* moving product development groups. Take the initiative to investigate new and innovative ways to assure product quality and work within the team to
