Job Description:

Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent first line response to Akamai Prospects and understand their requirement in detail.
* Have a thorough understanding of Akamai’s products and solutions and be able to identify the pain and qualify sales opportunities.
* Research prospective accounts and assess propensity to buy, including budget, financial condition, need and time frame.
* Articulate the Akamai value proposition, benefits to the customers business and understanding of the Content Delivery market.
* Set up qualified first appointments and help build pipeline for the Field Sales force and Inside Sales teams.
* Build strong relationships with the Sales representatives and marketing team to ensure warm hand off of leads.
* Close co-operation with the sales team to identify and follow up on new opportunities.
* Meet targets and SLA’s on qualified opportunities, prospect satisfaction, process adherence and availability.

Qualifications:

* Ability to understand and analyze the customer’s web infrastructure properly and provide logical solutions.
* Ability to cope up with difficult customer situations.
* Have excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast changing environment.
* Experience with CRM system is a plus
* Willing to work in night shift
