Jammu & Kashmir Police, invites applications for the post of Sub Inspector
Sub Inspector - 41 Posts (OM-15, RBA-12, ST-05, SC-06, SUPC-01, ALC-02)
Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech from recognized Uniniversity in Electronics & Communication Engineering OR Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Age : 18-28 yrs as on 1st day of January 2011.
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4240/-
Physical Standards : Height : 5'-6" (min.), Chest : 33 1/2" (expanded). For Female candidates : Height : 5'-2" (min.) (However , for male candidates belonging to Leh/Kargil districts and Gorkha community, the minimum height shall be 5' 4" while for females the same shall be 5')
Company Profile :
The Jammu and Kashmir State was, in fact , a pioneer in enacting RTI Act in the year 2004. Bringing it at par with the Central Act, the Jammu & Kashmir State Right to Information Act 2009 was enforced with effect from 20th March, 2009. By virtue of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 12 of the said Act, the State Government constituted the Jammu & Kashmir State Information Commission through a gazette notification under SRO 325 dated 19-10-2009. The Commission comprises of one State Chief Information Commissioner and two State Information Commissioners appointed by the Governor.
How To Apply:
The application form must be accompanied by attested copies of the following testimonials : a) Matriculation certificate/Date of birth certificate. b) Degree certificate in any of the discipline as prescribed above. c) State Subject Certificate. d) Prescribed certificate, if belonging to any of the reserved category (s). e) Four copies of recently taken passport size photograph of the applicant with name written at the back side. f) One self-addressed envelop of 28cm x 12cm size affixed with required postal stamps. The candidates should deposit the Application forms in the office of respective Inspectors General of Police (Armed/IR) Srinagar/Jammu under proper receipt. In case of candidates belonging to Leh and Kargil districts, the application forms shall be deposited in the office of SScP Leh and Kargil respectively, Application forms, incomplete in any manner, shall be summarily rejected without intimation to the concerned candidates. Last date of receipt of application forms in the Offices of LsGP (Armed/IR) Srinagar/Jammu and SSsP Leh/Kargil shall be 30.11.2011.
