Designation: Tax Analyst
Job Description:
This position is based at Pune, India and reports to the Tax Manager based in USA. The position requires knowledge of US Sales and US taxation and US-GAAP.
Responsibilities:
• Monthly reconciliations of the US sales & use tax GL accounts
• Generate monthly reports out of various systems necessary to support the US sales & use tax returns
• Preparation of the sales & use tax returns
• Calculation and payment of business license renewals for all company locations within the US
• Complete the business license application process for any new location
• Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities, vendors, customers, and other departments within TIBCO.
• US Sales & Use tax audit support.
• Researching sales & use tax laws affecting the company

Desired Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Accounting is required
• 2-5 years Accounting/Finance experience
• Experience in US Sales Tax and US-GAAP is preferred
• US company experience preferred
• Must possess good time management skills in order to meet reporting deadlines
• Must be well organized in approach to work and disciplined in evaluating priorities
• Being detail oriented is a must
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Experience with Oracle Financials preferred
• Excellent communications skills
