TVNL, a Govt. of Jharkhand Undertaking is having its corporate office at Ranchi. The project site known as Tenughat Thermal Power Station (TTPS) is located at village Lalpania in Dist‐Bokaro. The project is situated on the bank of Tenughat reservoir. The nearest railway station is Gomia which is at a distance of 20 KM approx. and the nearest airport is Ranchi which is at a distance of approx. 100 KM by road. The project site at Lalpania has a well developed colony with essential facilities like school, hospital, bank, post office, marketing complex etc.
