Designation: Technical Support Analyst
Job Description:
• Reply to enquiries either by telephone or e-mail.
• Work with regional Product staff (support and DBAS)
• Work well with local account management and support staff currently based in London. Tunisia, Paris , Hong Kong and Singapore
• Gain good knowledge of the product to able to answer queries and perform initial investigations.
• Gain good knowledge of Product design and constituent development languages to be able to perform second line support including code investigations, bug fixes, data fixes.
• Gain and develop and good understanding of capital markets and the business that Product supports.
• Manage their own immediate work schedule and respect deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work alone or in a team, positive approach and desire to do well and progress.

Desired Profile:
- Will be required to work shifts.
- Working closely with Pune Client Services DBAs and regional support staff to receive information, investigate the issue, resolve and deliver all under standard working procedures.
- The candidate will be required to be familiar with the product code and be able to change, test and release following QA and operations procedures.
- The candidate will be required to have good written and verbal communication skills, be a quick learner, enjoy a fast moving and sometimes pressurised working environment and be ready to expand their skills and knowledge in Capital Markets business, the product and the technologies used in its development
Skills requirements:
• At least 2 years experience in C, C++ or Java
• Strong experience in Capital markets - ideally in securities middle and / or back office
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and quick learning abilities
• Strong Oracle RDMS experience.
• Strong PL/SQL
• UNIX / LINUX scripting and command tools
• Performance tuning experience is good to have.
• Knowledge of web based design – XML and web-services an advantage.
• Experience in oracle forms and reports will be good to have
• J2EE design principles and experience desirable
• Experience in communications / network programming an advantage.
