Job Description:

• Create, write and maintain QTP Automation Test Scripts based upon a defined Test Strategy using Framework (No record and playback method).

• Designs/construct/maintain test automation framework, as defined in business specifications/requirements.

• Reviews and analyzes test results to confirm, establish and communicate the cause of the discrepancy.

• Diagnose issues identifies that pertain to Automation Test Scripts and correct in a timely manner to ensure automation test completion. Document and Track any issues for quick resolution.

• Document and track all issues requiring development intervention and follow through to resolution to ensure timely correction.

• Execute automated and manual Test Plans in the proper Test Environment for each release.

• Integrating available ad hoc testing into the automation environment

• Prepare detailed test automation summary report

Mandatory Skills

• Overall testing experience of 2 years with QTP 10 (HP quick test professional) using frameworks to automate regression / functional test script.

• Previous experience of Test Case Writing and Test Scripting. Web and .NET based application.

• Good in VB Script.

• Ability to handle regression Test Execution using Quality center.

• Identify scenarios suitable for automation testing.

• Bug reporting and analysis.

• Knowledge of Test development life cycle, software development life cycle, software support life cycle. Experience with required software to manage the SQLC including Test Plan management, defect tracking, automation tools and source code control, Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Willing to work on manual testing as and when required.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to .NET technology. Previous experience of automation scripting infragistic based application.

• Certifications (HPQTP, ISTQB)

• Strong time management skills

• Self-motivated, team player
