Job Description:

ION Trading is building a new team of talented developers who will drive key simulation and test automation initiatives within the product organisation.

Focus of this team will be:

• To design and develop simulation and testing automation technologies and applications, in collaboration with development managers, product owners and business analysts

• To participate in development projects driven by agile methodologies

• To implement TDD (Test Driven Development) methodologies in collaboration with product development teams.

Desired Profile:

We are looking for developers, with the following requirements:

• Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Test Driven Development

• Ability to work independently and in a team, under high pressure, in a rapidly evolving environment, with different languages and technologies

• Strong C++ OR Java

• Strong DBMS

• Strong mathematical skills

• Be result-driven

• Ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical level

• Open to travel as job may include travelling, including 3-6 months training in Europe or USA during the first 2 years.

Good to have:

• Keen interest in Finance.

• Scripting experience (javascript, tcl, perl)

• Experience of working with remote teams in Europe and USA
