Applications are invited in the prescribed format for following posts from Indian Citizens in various offices of MES Western Command :
• Store Keeper-II (SK-II) : 03 posts
• Peon : 26 posts
• Chowkidar (Khansama) : 02 posts
• Civil Motor Driver(Ordinary Grade) : 46 posts
• Chowkidar : 36 posts
• Safaiwala : 08 posts
• Mate (Electrician) : 751 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
• Mate (Refrigerator Mechanic) : 125 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
• Mate (Carpenter) : 87 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
• Mate (Mason) : 41 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
• Mate (Fitter General Mechanic) : 306 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
• Mate (Pipe Fitter) : 86 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
• Mate (Painter) : 12 posts in various Commander Works Engineer
Age limit : 18 to 27 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200/-
Mode of Selection & Examination Schedule: All eligible candidates will have to appear for a written test. As per merit in the written test, subject to a maximum of five times the number of vacancy in each category, candidates will be called for interview and Practical Test as applicable.

Military Engineer Services (MES) is one of the largest Government construction agency in India and provides works cover to Army, Navy and Air Force. It has a large number of units and sub units spread across the entire country. Engineer-in-Chief is the head of MES and is assisted by six Command Chief Engineers who are co-located and under the operational Army Commands, Additional Director Generals at Pune and Secunderabad and 31 Zonal Chief Engineers. Besides works of the Armed Forces, MES also undertake civil works of Defence Research and Development Organization, Coast Guard, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan, and other government organizations.
