Specific Responsibilities/Functions
- SDLC & STLC understanding.
- Test planning under the guidance of a more senior engineer.
- Execution of assigned testing tasks.
- Identification and reporting of product defects.
- Writes clear and complete defect reports including all required information, and details required for reproduction.

Experience & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of QA experience
- Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer science
Competencies / Skill sets required for the role:
- Must have
1. Very good in Black box test techniques & methodologies
2. Very good analytical, testing & technical skills
3. Basic programming knowledge preferably in C / C++ / any other object oriented programming
4. Strong in Windows Concepts like
i. Different file system
ii. Imaging
iii. Services & Process
iv. OS installation & partitioning
1. Good in Networking concepts (basics)
2. Experience in QTP
3. Very Good in analysis and Troubleshooting
- Nice to have
1. Unix / Linux knowledge
2. Knowledge in automation (PERL, Python)
3. Knowledge in non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability etc)
Experience: 2 - 4 Years

UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Computers
